Day 1 – Thursday 16th June, 2016

8.00 AM – Registration and Networking
Please arrive on time, get registered, enjoy some early networking, meet old friends and make some new contacts. Quick check in to hotel available at registration

9.30 am – Welcome by Simon Meredith
Simon is an industry veteran of almost 30 years and once again he has given up his time to be your host for the day.

9.40 am – Synaxon UK – Derek Jones
Derek will give a brief update regarding what’s new within Synaxon

10.00 am – Keynote – Andrew Wilson, Head of Indirect Partners, Virgin Media Business
Virgin Media Business is coming to the UK channel, a senior executive will be presenting the huge partnership opportunities available to Synaxon member companies – you cannot afford to miss this! 10.30 am – Keynote – Alison Vincent, CTO, Cisco Alison joined Cisco
in 2012 from NDS responsible for Innovation, Open Source policy and Intellectual Property Rights Management in the Video Business. Prior to NDS she held senior positions in both IBM and Micro Focus Ltd. Her roles span experience in Research and Development, Strategy Execution, Product Management, Business Development and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Coffee break and exhibition opens:

11.00 am – Exhibition officially opens – one 2 one meetings start

4.00 pm Ian Trump, Security Lead, Logic Now

Ian is an ITIL certified Information Technology (IT) consultant with 20 years’ experience in IT security. He is currently the Security Lead at LOGICnow working across all lines of business to define, create and execute security solutions and promote a safe, secure Internet for Small & Medium Businesses world-wide.  Ian has previously managed IT projects at the Canadian Museum of Human Rights.

4.30 pm Guest Speaker – John Nichol

John will share with us his story and how he coped when ones innermost reserves are tested by external demands.

The first the world saw of RAF navigator Flight Lieutenant John Nichol was as a tortured British prisoner-of-war, beaten and humiliated by his captors. The ensuing pictures were flashed around the world and became an enduring symbol of the first Gulf war. The traumatic weeks of capture gave John a unique insight into the human capacity to deal with extreme adversity and change.

7.00 am to 9.00.am – Breakfast

9.00 am – one 2 one meetings start

12.00 noon – Conference closes
